Websites & web apps

For us, a custom website doesn’t mean a tweaked template. We design and build every website around what it needs to do: generate enquiries, sell, take bookings or run a company’s own processes. Design, UX and code stay with one team, so nothing gets lost between the designer and the developer. The result is a website that’s fast, easy to use and can keep growing without being rewritten from scratch.

We build the frontend with React, TypeScript and Vite, write the backend in Node.js and Express, and store data to suit the project, for example in SQLite. We use the same technologies on our own products, such as Converter, BG Remover and the E-shop marketplace, where we handle user accounts, admin panels and SEO in five languages, plus Stripe payments in Converter and BG Remover. What we prove on our own products, we then roll out for clients.

We work from Prague, Czech Republic, for clients across the Czech Republic and abroad, so custom web application development can happen in person or remotely. Every website build includes technical SEO and one month of support for changes and optimization after launch. We don’t hand over the website and disappear. If we also work together long term on content or campaigns, the website evolves along with them.

What’s included

Custom UX and design
We design the structure, user flows and visual look of the website. The design grows out of your brand and out of what visitors should do on the page.
React frontend
React development with TypeScript and SCSS. A fast, responsive interface that works as well on a phone as on a large monitor.
Backend and API
A Node.js and Express server, database, forms, user accounts, admin panel and custom API. We validate every input and protect it against abuse. Forms are protected against spam with rate limiting and a honeypot.
Online stores and booking systems
Custom e-commerce, a booking system or a marketplace with its own logic. For MysteryCase we integrated a custom booking system directly into the website.
Integrations and payments
We connect the Stripe payment gateway, e-mail, analytics and the other services your business uses, so data flows where it should. You don’t have to copy orders, bookings or enquiries between systems by hand.
SEO, performance and security
Technical SEO, metadata, structured data, sitemap, language versions and optimized media. We deploy websites with security headers and a strict CSP.

FAQ

How much does a custom website cost?
We quote every project individually after a short call about your goals and scope, because every client needs something different. The price mainly depends on the number of pages and features, integrations with other systems, language versions and how ready your materials are. After the call you get a specific scope and price.
How long does it take to develop a web application?
It depends on the scope of features, how ready your materials are and how quickly feedback comes in. A brochure website is done sooner than an application with accounts, payments and an admin panel. We confirm a realistic schedule before we start and split larger projects into phases, so the first version can go live sooner. We then add features based on how real customers use the website.
Who owns the source code?
We put the code rights and access to the repository, hosting and domain clearly in writing before the project starts. We want you to stay in control of your website and not depend on whoever happened to build it. If you have a specific requirement regarding the code, tell us in the kickoff call.
Will I be able to edit the website myself?
Yes, if you need to. At the start we define which parts you want to change yourself, such as copy, products, prices or booking slots, and build a simple admin panel for them. The rest of the website stays protected so the design can’t be broken by accident. If you’d rather not make changes yourself, we’ll handle them for you as part of support.
What does a website build include after launch?
Every website build includes SEO and one month of support for changes and optimization after launch. After that, support is a separate service. If we’re also working together long term on content, social media or another service, website support stays part of the engagement.
Do you also build custom online stores and booking systems?
Yes. Custom e-commerce and a custom booking system make sense where an off-the-shelf solution doesn’t fit your process. For MysteryCase we built a website with its own booking system, and on our own E-shop marketplace we handle the entire purchase journey, from the catalog to orders split by seller.
