Branding and rebranding.
We help companies find what makes them different and turn it into a brand that holds together. From strategy and positioning through visual identity and tone of voice to brand guidelines.
Branding & rebranding
A company rebrand makes sense when the brand no longer reflects who the company is. The company has grown, changed its customers or its offering, but the logo, colors and way of communicating are still from the days when it started. The result is a brand that feels smaller or older than the company really is. Customers then judge the company by packaging that stopped fitting long ago.
For us, branding doesn’t start with a logo. First we clarify who the brand is for, how it differs from the competition and how it should speak. Only then do we build the visual identity on top of that: logo, colors, typography, graphic elements and photography style. Strategy gives the identity a reason, so the new brand doesn’t rest on taste alone.
Because we’re one team for design, web, content and campaigns, your new identity doesn’t stay stuck in a PDF. We can roll it straight out to your website, social media and ads. That’s how we built our own AdScaled brand and the visual identity of the LootLoom gaming marketplace. In both cases the result was an identity that works on the web, in graphics and in motion.
What’s included
- Brand strategy
- A workshop about who you are, who you’re for and what sets you apart. The output is a clear brief that everything else builds on. We run the workshop so the people who really know the company take part.
- Positioning
- We define the brand’s place in the market and the core message that sets it apart from the competition. Positioning becomes the filter for decisions about the website, campaigns and content.
- Visual identity
- Brand identity design: logo, color palette, typography, graphic elements and photography style. We design the identity to work as well in a tiny mobile icon as on a large poster.
- Tone of voice
- We define how the brand speaks and add examples of what to say and what not to. Copy then sounds the same on the website and in the comments.
- Brand guidelines
- Rules for using the identity, written clearly so your team and outside vendors can work with them. The guidelines include examples of correct and incorrect use.
- Brand rollout
- We carry the new identity through to your website, social media, templates and print materials, and help you plan how to announce the change. The new brand goes live everywhere at once, and customers recognize it right away.
How we work
- Kickoff call and materials
- We go through the brand’s history, goals, customers and competitors.
- Strategy workshop
- Together we define the brand’s position, values and personality.
- Identity design
- We present a direction for the visual identity and tone of voice and refine it based on your feedback.
- Brand guidelines
- We write up the rules and prepare a set of assets: logo, colors, typography and templates.
- Rollout
- We roll the identity out to the website, social media and other channels so the change happens all at once and consistently.

FAQ
- How much does a company rebrand cost?
- We quote every project individually after a short call about your goals and scope, because every client needs something different. The main difference is whether it’s a refresh of the logo and colors or complete branding including strategy, tone of voice, guidelines and rollout across all channels. After the call you get a specific scope and price.
- What’s the difference between branding and rebranding?
- Branding is creating a brand from scratch, for a new company or product. Rebranding changes a brand that already exists and has its own history and customers. With a rebrand we therefore focus more on what to keep from the existing brand so people still recognize it. Branding a new company, on the other hand, has a freer hand and can start from zero.
- Do we have to change our logo?
- Not always. Sometimes it’s enough to simplify the logo and change the colors, typography or the way you communicate. You get our recommendation after the strategy phase, once we know what the brand is really missing. Recognizable elements customers are used to are often worth keeping and simply modernizing.
- How long does a rebrand take?
- It depends on the scope and on how many people on your side are involved in decisions. Strategy and identity design need time for discussion and feedback. We confirm the schedule before we start and split it into clear phases, so you know what comes when. Decision-making usually takes longest, so we recommend having one main point of contact on your side.
- What do we get at the end?
- The brand strategy, a visual identity with the logo in the formats you need, a color palette, typography, tone of voice and brand guidelines with rules of use. If it’s part of the project, also a new website, social media templates and other assets.
- Will you also take care of a new website after the rebrand?
- Yes. Custom web development is one of our core services, so we can roll the new identity straight out to your website, social media and campaigns. Your brand won’t go through a period where the logo says one thing and the website another. The whole rollout is handled by the same team that designed the identity.
